In the first leg match valid for the quarterfinals of the Champions League, Barcelona beat PSG 3-2 and Atletico Madrid defeated Borussia Dortmund 2-1.
Raphinha opened the scoring for Barcelona at minute 37, then Dembelé at 48' put the challenge back on even footing. The Parisians started to gain confidence and at 50' they overtook their opponents thanks to Vitinha’s scoring. Twelve minutes later Raphinha (again) pierced Donnarumma with a great volley, then Christensen (who had just entered) sealed the goal of the final 3-2.
Atletico Madrid won despite the final thrill: Cholo Simeone’s boys went ahead thanks to De Paul’s goal on 4. On 32'Samuel Lino sealed the equalizer and the match was channelled on the red and white tracks. In the final forò the Colchoneros took a big risk: Haller scored at 81'81' Borussia Dortmund tried everything to equalize but did not succeed.
