Bad news in the Milan household. Samuel Chukwueze, in fact, who was forced to leave the field at the end of the first half in Saturday’s match against Cagliari, underwent instrumental examinations that showed a first-degree injury to the femoral biceps of the left thigh.
This was announced è by the same Rossoneri club, through an official note: "Chukwueze in the match against Cagliari suffered a first-degree injury of the femoral biceps muscle of the left thigh; the clinical evolution will be checked with a new MRI next week".
The recovery time has not been defined but surely the Nigerian offensive outfielder will have to skip the last two days of the championship, scheduled for Saturday, May 18 against Torino and the last one at home with Salernitana the following weekend, thus ending his season early.
In his first season in a Rossoneri shirt, Chukwueze, taken in the summer from Villarreal for 20 million euros plus 8 million in bonuses, collected 33 appearances, scoring three goals and making three assists among all competitions.
