Frosinone goes through Monza: salvation closer

Frosinone wins in Monza. The guests, hungry for points, take very little time to take the lead. They do so with Cheddira, scoring with a header. The ciociari go close to doubling, while Monza struggles to sting. Late in the half, però, Colpani hits the post from close range.

They restart after the’interval with a revolutionized Monza (in Zerbin, D’Ambrosio and Valentin Carboni) but Frosinone draws the woodwork count with a nice initiative by Soulé, who confirms all his qualities.

While for a handful of minutes the Var stops working, for  the biancorossi there’è also room for Caprari, who takes over from a Dany Mota not in his best day despite his efforts, while Di Francesco, at 72’, makes his first change throwing Gelli into the fray.

Monza tries until the end, systematically looking for Djuric in the area, Frosinone controls and tries to restart: few emotions, until Caprari, from a few steps fails to hit the goal. Frosinone wins, now closer to salvation.
