The technician who will conclude the season è official.
Juventus soccer market: Paolo Montero will end his season on the Bianconeri bench, following Massimiliano Allegri's tumultuous farewell culminating in his dismissal with immediate effect last Friday. The Livorno coach had paid for what happened on Wednesday evening in the very last minutes of the Coppa Italia final against Atalanta (which he won, moreover) and then in the aftermath of the match and in the awards ceremony.
"The next two days of Serie A, the last of the 2023/24 Championship, will see Paolo Montero on the bench of the Men’s First Team", reads the note issued by Juventus in the early hours of Sunday. The Bianconeri will be on the pitch again on Monday evening when they face Bologna at the Dall'Ara in a direct clash between the two current third in the Serie A standings.
"Montero – Juventus recalled in its press release – è is currently the coach of the Under-19 team that just yesterday, May 18, concluded the Primavera 1 Championship: this morning, Sunday, May 19, he will direct his first training session with the team that he will then lead in the matches against Bologna (Monday, 8 p.m.45 at the 'Dall'Ara') and against Monza, at the Allianz Stadium, on a date and time yet to be determined, a match that will close our season".
"To Paolo, first Bianconeri legend on the field, then bearer of Juventus DNA on the bench (as confirmed by the Original 'Plantar una Semilla', produced by Juventus Creator Lab a few weeks ago), best wishes for this double commitment", concludes the club.
