Niang saves Empoli, Frosinone knocked out and relegated
Frosinone in Serie B
Great emotions to the last in Serie A. Sunday night in particular the race for salvation was decided with Frosinone losing 1-0 to Udinese and becoming the third team to relegate to Serie B, after Salernitana and Sassuolo.
Decisive forò è was also and above all Empoli's 2-1 victory over Roma thanks to Niang's goal at 93' after those of Cancellieri (13') and Aouar, who scored a header at 46'. Davide Nicola then completed another feat as the Ciociari greeted the top flight: Davis, scoring in 76' as a substitute, saved the Friulani.
In the other matches, Inter finished with a 2-2 draw against Verona. The Nerazzurri took the lead on 10' with Arnautovic, but the Venetians overturned the result on 19' with Noslin and on 37' with Suslov. In the recovery still Arnautovic restored the parity, which è then lasted until the triple whistle.
To complete the picture, Lazio did not è go beyond the 1-1 at home against Sassuolo. Zaccagni’s free kick at 60’ was answered by Viti. Tudor è however, secured seventh place and thus the Europa League arm in arm with Roma's cousins.
