Marc Marquez is under no illusions after second place in the Mugello Sprint Race: "The race pace looks very good, but we are not at the same level as Bagnaia".
"Today the start was not good and we have to work on it for tomorrow. It will dependà on the temperatures, but I think we optà for the use of soft, becauseé dà more performance than the medium", added the Spaniard to Sky Sport.
"I did not think I was in contention for the World Championship. For me è already; an honor to fight with Jorge and Pecco, who are the strongest. After the crash here in Mugello I took a step back and learned from that. The two of them know how to exploit this bike, I am improving race after race", concluded Marquez.
