Pistoia says goodbye to Luca Angella

Luca Angella will no longer be the deputy of Nicola Brienza, as announced by the Estra Pistoia: "A.S. Estra Pistoia Basket 2000, arrived at the end of the 2023/24 sports season, intends to say goodbye to the deputy coach of the first team, Luca Angella, which ends the relationship with our companyà".

First as youth coach, achieving important results in every category from Minibasket to the Under19 Eccellenza reaching seven national finals in different years, and then in the coaching staff of the first team between LBA and A2 with 192 tokens of presence, for eighteen years he has always shown the utmost professionalism, dedication to the cause and attachment to the jersey becoming, in fact, an acquired Pistoiese.

"For the personal relationships that have been created over these years è a goodbye – said Luca Angella – and as soon as he hasò opportunity he will always come to Pistoia that è become my second home. Certainly, when I arrived here, I never thought I would spend eighteen years of my life here, and I must say that we have managed to take some great satisfaction, both when I was in the youth sector and with the first team. Seeing so many kids, who have come through our teams, be professionals today è definitely the most beautiful thing that remains for me. A big thank you to the whole cityà and to all the fans for how they have always supported me".

"I would like to thank Luca for his invaluable help in these eighteen years within the club – added sports director, Marco Sambugaro – he has always given his all, starting from the youth sector and then getting to the first team, and so I can only wish him good luck".

"The clubà thanks Luca Angella for the work he has done over the years and wishes him the best of luck in the continuation of his professional career" closes the note from the biancorossi.
