The words of Guillermo Giacomazzi

Guillermo Giacomazzi, Roma’s assistant coach, gave a long interview to the microphones of Radio Serie A with RDS in which he also spoke about Lecce, in which he played for no less than 11 seasons, from 2001 to 2007 and from 2008 to 2013, becoming the second player with moreù appearances in the history of the Salento club.

"I am happy for Lecce’s salvation,” he admitted, “I am particularly attached to that square because it was the first team with which I approached Serie A as a footballer, I will always be grateful to everyone there, they really treated me like a son and I think I reciprocated the feeling by doing everything I could do and always committing myself to the maximum".

"I think Serie A can again enchant all the fans of the world by trying to still be the most attractive league; today è the Premier is considered the most attractive league, but I think Serie A can do better" concluded Giacomazzi.
