Marc Marquez will takeà Enea Bastianini’s place as rider of the official Ducati team starting in 2025. The eight-time world champion Catalan rider will flank Pecco Bagnaia, while the Rimini centaur will most likely join KTM. The Borgo Panigale company's decision has angered many, including Bastianini's agent Carlo Pernat.
On Instagram the manager of the Beast published two polemical posts: in the first he referred to the Bagnaia-Bastianini one-two at Mugello a few days ago, posting a photo of the two riders embracing. "This was supposed to be the couple of the future Ducati. What do you think?", è Pernat’s message.
In the second one, however, there'è an ironic photomontage with Bagnaia and Marc Marquez, with the comment "Belin che roba…". Ducati’s decision has not è been digested by several Italian fans, while abroad many Spanish fans are rejoicing and already dreaming of overtaking Valentino Rossi in terms of world titles.
Meanwhile, Gigi Dall'Igna commented thusì the arrival of Marquez: "Our choice è fell on an unquestionable talent like Marc Márquez. In just a few races, è managed to adapt perfectly to our Desmosedici GP and his innate ambition pushes him to grow continuously".
