GP Canada, Lewis Hamilton relies on Mercedes’ upgrades
È a Lewis Hamilton in confidence the one who è presented himself at the drivers’ press conference in Montreal, where Sunday will be disputed the Canadian GP, on "an almost city track, which suits the aggressive style".
"We are growing and I am proud of the way work is being done in the factory, with great concentration and I hope we can get even closer to the others", stressed the Mercedes driver.
"The car now è more stable in corners and now we can deal with them with moreù easeà. But the balance is still lacking", he added, announcing a "l'upgrade for both W15s and I can't wait to see the feeling we will get".
No Ferrari drivers were present at the press conference, but there were among others McLaren’s Oscar Piastri and Sergio Perez, fresh from his renewal with Red Bull. The young Australian said his team feels "it can fight among the favorites".
“&It’s exciting to fight for the top and we know that now victory è within our reach,” he added, “especially after the last three races that have been positive". As for Perez, he è hoped " not to have the same problems as in Monaco. I expect to see a stronger car, the others are also making progress and we must do the same".
