Jannik Sinner: the pride of papà Hanspeter

Jannik Sinner è the new world number one, and in Sesto Pusteria, the town where he è grew up, è a big party was organized in his honor. When he returns from Roland Garros, the Blue will put his signature in the municipality’s Golden Book, and then in the tennis center he will meet authorities and a group of young tennis players. Access to the party will be by invitation only.

Mouths are sealed on the part of everyone, starting with Jannik’s parents, although his father Hanspeter to Corriere della Sera let his joy leak out: "We are happy! Of course we felt… He with his head è always more è ahead. Happy sì, forò ask his manager. I can’t talk".

Hanspeter runs the Apartaments Haus Sinner in Sesto Pusteria with his wife Siglinde. A neighbor told Corriere della Sera a behind-the-scenes story about the life of the Italian champion: "He thinks like a 40-year-old adult. His grandfather è my cousin. I used to see him accompanying him skiing. He told me about Jannik’s doubts: he had to choose between skiing and tennis. In the end he chose well. The strength of mind comes to him from the mountains but also from those who raised him, starting with his father and mother".

The mayor of Sesto Pusteria, Thomas Summerer, explained that Sinner will be greeted by a marching band: "A randomly chosen date but one that has become memorable now that he è number 1, and we hope he also comes with the Roland Garros cup. For him we are also resurfacing the streets".
