Milik’s drama: no European and girlfriend in tears

Cursed bad luck for Arkadiusz Milik: the Juventus striker will be forced to miss the European Championship due to an injury he sustained after just two minutes of Poland’s friendly match against Ukraine. Milik è was left on the ground after a clash with Ruslan Malinovskyi, and was then forced to leave the field immediately.

His worries immediately caused much concern, and in the stands his girlfriend è burst into tears, worried. At a press conference, Poland coach Michal Probierz made the injury official: "He will have to undergo surgery. We will answer questions on Saturday. Now I have to discuss with the doctor the condition of three other players, whose participation in the European Championship brings with it a question mark".

"Several players in the national team have been injured – è the note from the Polish federation -, and Milik’s has unfortunately proved serious enough to the point that he will not be selected for the final tournament of the European Championships. The player will return to his club and will have to undergo an'arthroscopy of the knee joint".
