On the eve of his home European Championship debut at the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann dispenses optimism about the condition of his team. Here are his words.

"I think we are ready. We used the days well to train well. The guys seem to be in good shape. We are a little nervous, but this è an important point”.

“We have to have some nervousness. A big compliment goes to our team doctor, there were three or four players who came in injured but are now fit. I'm looking forward to tomorrow”.

Ilkay Gundogan, one of the stars of the team, è on the same wavelength: "I expect a difficult game I know many players from the Premier League. They have a lot of experience. I think they can be difficult. We should not underestimate them, but we also know what we can do. If we reach our potential I am sure we can win tomorrow".
