"I am happy to be in the semifinals and hope to recover as best I can. Now I need to rest having played a lot these last few days. I have been on the court for a long time, we will see how much I can recover becauseè 2 hours and 30 minutes is a lot. We hope to do a good job" debuted the South Tyrolean.

"It&#39s clear that the goal is to get to the top in London. I am happy to have played several challenging matches, so that I can improve my feeling for the grass. I have been playing doubles for this as well. Next week will be dedicated to specific workouts and I will also do some work in the gym to recover condition and have as much energy as possible when I play in the Championships" added the world number one.

"The meeting with Struff è was very complex especially mentally, I simply tried to accept the fact that he was serving very well. He's a crazy player and with tennis players like that you have to try to accept these situations and try to find new solutions, although è it is difficult to find alternatives. I am happy with the way I played the tie-break of the third set, because è I was just coming from three tie-breaks lost consecutively, but in the end I won the one that mattered most " concluded Jannik Sinner.

The Italian number one will be back on court for the Halle semifinal against China’s Zhang Zhizhen on Saturday, June 22 at 3 p.m. at the earliest.
