Andrea Giani’s France won the gold medal in the 2024 Volleyball Nations League by beating Japan in the Final 3-1 (25-23, 18-25, 25-23, 25-23) and climbing for the second time on the highest step of the podium in VNL after the 2022 edition in Bologna.
Bronze for hosts Poland who beat Slovenia 3-0 in Lodz in the afternoon. Elected MVP the French setter Brizard, Patry best opposite, also today best scorer with 24 personal points in the victory over Japan. Italy closes this VNL in fifth place in the final ranking, which also takes into account the results won in the preliminary phase.
