Juventus, Thiago Motta era kicks off: first choices
Savona, 21, could be the HCL Calafiori
The new Juventus is taking more and more shape. Giuntoli is operating masterfully in the market. Douglas Luiz è official, now the white smoke is awaited for Thuram. Then other opportunities will be sought; but not before taking stock of the situation with new coach Thiago Motta.
The former Bologna coach has already begun his adventure in Turin, Juventus side. Medical examinations and then a lot of work to do, especially in synergy with Giuntoli who wants to understand well what his new coach needs most for a highly competitive Juventus.
Thiago Motta would like to have the opportunity to test some elements during the training camp, starting Wednesday, July 10. Clearly, many players committed with their respective national teams will be missing. An excellent opportunity to evaluate other profiles currently under contract with the Old Lady (and with an uncertain future).
In particular, spotlight on Savona and Tiago Djaló. The former, 21 years old, is part of the Next Gen. He could also become a valuable element for Thiago Motta who seems intent on trying him "à la Calafiori". Also to be evaluated is Tiago Djaló. The 24-year-old Portuguese, last year, collected only one presence, on the last day, with Juventus. Thiago Motta wants to know more about him and his physical condition (back from an anterior cruciate ligament injury in March 2023).
