Now è official: "FC Internazionale Milano announces that it has reached an agreement to extend the contract of player Lautaro Martinez: the 1997 class striker will be Nerazzurri until June 30, 2029".

His soccer career began in Liniers. In the first years in the Youth Sector he plays in defense, then over time more and more forward scoring goals, creating the unpredictable, becoming one of the strongest strikers in the world. He played for 4 seasons at Racing and è that is when his Inter fairytale began, an unequivocal sign of destiny: on the day of his first team debut with Racing to relieve him è Diego Milito, the Nerazzurri Prince.
After his years in Argentina he landed at Inter and in his first season -2018/19-, he collected 35 appearances, scoring 9 goals. He observes, studies and learns. In this tournament he reached the 100-goal mark, which came in the match won against Lecce, and triumphed in the top scorers’ chart with 24 centers.
His talent also found immense satisfaction with the Argentine national team, with which he achieved every footballer’s dream in 2022: to become world champion. The year before he had already participated in the triumph in the Copa America and repeated himself this summer, becoming thanks to his heavy goals one of the absolute protagonists and top scorer of the review. His was the decisive goal in the final against Colombia. With the Albiceleste he scored 29 goals in 64 appearances.
