MotoGp, VR46: home air is good for Marco Bezzecchi
Marco Bezzecchi on the front row in Misano
After a long series of negative results, Marco Bezzecchi finds his smile again in the very first of the two weekends he will run; in Misano Adriatico, just a few kilometers from his home. The 25-year-old rider of the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team will in fact start from the front row, moreù precisely from the third position, in the Sprint Race and the Sunday Gp.
"What a revolution, a romantic revolution – explains the same 'Bez' – like my helmet today dedicated to the fans and all the friends who always support me. Already since yesterday the feelings were really good, I felt good, I was hoping, but I didn’t dare to imagine so much. Instead, today we made another small step in the last free practice and in qualifying I posted a great lap".
"Too bad about the final attempt, I left a few tenths, but I am happy. Now we return to the data and then appointment for everyone at 3 p.m., it will be a heartfelt Saturday in front of the cheers of this beautiful Misano" added the 1998 class rider, who this year è climbed only once on the podium, in the Jerez GP.
This weekend's is the first of two GPs to be held in Misano: the San Marino and Rimini Riviera GP weekend was already scheduled for Sept. 6-8, while the Emilia Romagna GP will be held Sept. 20-22 in place of the Kazakhstan GP, which was canceled for logistical reasons.
