Venice Reyer awaits the'Aris

Two ultracentennial clubs one against the other in the first day of the Eurocup, the second competition corganized by Euroleague Basketball, which guarantees the winner a place in the Euroleague the following season: at the Palasport Taliercio in Mestre, on Wednesday, September 25 at 8 p.m., Reyer Venezia and Aris Thessaloniki will face each other, for the orogranata it will be the beginning of the sixth consecutive participation in the Eurocup.

"I am very excited about the start of this season,” said Neven Spahija at the match presentation. “During the preseason we missed some players, but now we are almost full. The team is growing every day and I hope we will continue to play with the same level of defense we have shown lately".

" I am sure we will also improve our shooting percentage soon. Aris è has changed a lot, but we know their style of play. We have seen a couple of their games, è always a difficult team to play against. We are playing a home game for the first time, and I hope the fans will come out to support us and try to win this game together" then concluded Spahija, calling on the supporters of the lagoon club.

Reyer officially started the season last Saturday in the semifinals of the Italian Supercup against Olimpia Milano: it was the Red Shoes who won 73-62, qualifying for the final then won twenty-four hours later against Virtus Bologna 98-96 after overtime.
