It will be the Greeks of’Olympiacos the opponents of MINT Vero Volleyball Monza in Group B of CEV Champions League 2025. The team from “Piraeus” joins the Turks of Fenerbahce and the Germans of Giesen and thus completes the Pool in which Eccheli’s boys have been placed. The Hellenes can count on a competitive roster in which old acquaintances of the SuperLega championship such as Travica, Atanasijevic and Pajenk feature.

The first appointment of the Vero Volley men’s first team with the top European club competition è set for Thursday November 14 at’Opiquad Arena in Monza precisely against’Olympiacos.

For this 2024/25 edition return to the past in terms of the competition formula. In fact, the CEV has decided to abandon the Superfinals, introduced in 2019 in Berlin edition, and return to the roots with the Final Four.

The Champions League 2024-2025 will therefore no longer have a dry final but will return to play on the formula that includes semifinals and final 1° and 2° place, while the final for the 3° place will not be played.
