It’ s begun the countdown to Turin and’Allianz Stadium which, on Saturday Nov. 23, will host the final test-match of Vittoria Assicurazioni Autumn Nations Series between’Gonzalo Quesada s Italy and New Zealand All Blacks the iconic team of great international rugby that will challenge the Azzurri in Juventus s home stadium.
The Piedmontese capital, which in its history has welcomed the Italian National Rugby Team on three occasions, always at the Olympic Stadium, returns to host the’Italrugby nine years after the last appointment – in preparation for the 2015 Rugby World Cup against Scotland – and does so with the most’iconic and heartfelt challenge; iconic and heartfelt of an autumn triptych that, for Lamaro and his teammates, kicks off on Saturday, November 9, in Udine against Argentina and then continues on Sunday, November 17, in Genoa against Georgia before concluding with the Turin appointment, the most eagerly awaited not only by fans but by sportsmen and women throughout Italy.
Nearly forty thousand tickets have already been sold by FIR for the match against New Zealand, the only opponent on the international stage, along with England, never beaten in previous confrontations by’Italrugby.
Turin and the Allianz Stadium will continue to host the Italian Men’s National Team in 2025 and 2026, thanks to the agreement signed between FIR and Juventus that will bring’the most prestigious of the three autumn fixtures on the international calendar to the capital’s stadium every autumn, consolidating the Savoy city as a reference destination for sports tourism.
