A difficult and comeback victory, which confirms the great growth of the team.

Roma still victorious, for the fourth time in a row in the league, and again with its sights on Europe. These were the consequences of the difficult and crucial 2-1 collected at the Stadio Olimpico over a tough and combative Como, who had long frightened Claudio Ranieri’s team before capitulating after conceding the decisive goal by Artem Dovbyk.

Ranieri’s will to win had already emerged from his starting lineup, with Dybala, Shomurodov, Pellegrini and Soulé all playing simultaneously from the first minute. Como però certainly did not come to Rome with the intention of being dominated, so much so that the first chance of the match bore the signature of Da Cunha (inaccurate his header). Dangerous Ndicka and Dybala for the Giallorossi, then the goal with which the first half ended: it was Da Cunha himself who signed it on 44' taking advantage of a central corridor found by Perrone and a somewhat too soft closure by Mancini.

At the beginning of the second half immediately El Shaarawy and Dovbyk were on the field for Pellegrini and Shomurodov, but Como even came close to doubling the score: slightly late Strefezza searched for Diao. Then Roma raged about a contact in the box between El Shaarawy and Smolcic, and Svilar had to commit Cutrone. It could look like a haunted day for Roma, which instead at 61' found the equalizer thanks to Saelemaekers, just sent on by Ranieri and good at finding the goal at the end of a splendid action and also taking advantage of a deflection by Goldaniga.

Como, after having long dreamed of the feat, gradually saw everything fade away: as early as 64' it found itself in ten for the second caution to Kempf, saw the goal of the new lead cancelled for an offside by Cutrone (it had been Diao who had sent the ball into the net in tap-in) and at 76' capitulated. Courtesy of Dovbyk, who made the final touch on Rensch’s service previously triggered by Cristante. Ikoné comes close to equalizing, even closer goes Vojvoda who hits the post, then Svilar saves on the usual Cutrone. And Roma canò celebrate again.
