Max Verstappen advances more than one doubt about Red Bull

On the strength of four world titles won in a row, Max Verstappen è the man to beat again in the 2025 season that kicks off this weekend in Australia, but è the Dutchman himself is advancing doubts about the possibility of winning a fifth title in a row, a feat achieved in F1 history only by Michael Schumacher between 2000 and 2004.

"We have to try to do our best,” Verstappen said at a press conference in Melbourne. We can’t expect too much becauseé we haven’t had many days of testing available. There are areas where we need to work, I think there has been an improvement but we can do more.

"Right now we are not the fastest,” admitted the Dutchman.

It will be a long season, forò: things in Formula 1 change quickly, only at the end of the first race we will be able to have a first idea of the values on the field. Our goal è to be as competitive as possible".

Max Verstappen è returned from a 2024 season with two faces: after dominating the first half of the year with seven wins in the first ten GPs, he è went into trouble (as did Red Bull in general) from the Austrian Grand Prix onwards, finding success in only two of the last 14 races but managing to maintain the lead over Lando Norris, who finished second in the championship 64 points behind.
