In the first half Brescia proved to be a smart and energetic team. In the second half, however, we put our aggressiveness on the field, showing how games should be approached. I hope that this defensive intensity will be seen again in the next games”.
“Clearly I am talking about two games in one. We approached the game well, playing in the open court and taking advantage of our advantages. Virtus never played defense on the back foot, and that was to our credit. In the second half this did not succeed for us, there is a lot of credit to Virtus who turned up the physicality by putting up a very high level of defense as happened in the last challenges. We were not good, then, to play on the counterattack and this we paid for. It is a defeat that serves as a lesson for the future, when we raise the intensity we have to be better in the execution trying to limit the lost balls” these, instead, the statements of Germani Brescia head coach Peppe Poeta.
