Formula 1: Checo Perez ready to return as early as this season

Ended, with bitterness in his mouth, his adventure with Red Bull, Sergio Perez is looking forward to re-entering the world of Formula 1. There is talk of a deal with Cadillac rookie for next season but, according to The Race, the 35-year-old Mexican driver would have other options on the table.
Considering that Cadillac is likely to be an all-new stable, Checo Perez is reportedly thinking about other solutions that could guarantee him a more competitive single-seater. There are rumors of some talks with Alpine’Alpine. The reason? Franco Colapinto (has just taken Jack Doohan’s place), must prove he deserves the team’s seat in Flavio Briatore’s hands.
In fact, there are even those who think that, should Franco Colapinto fail, Checo Perez could be back in the game as early as this season. At the experience level, the Mexican is a guarantee. He has contested, from 2011 to 2024, an impressive 284 Formula 1 GPs, winning six of them. In short, he knows how to drive a Formula 1 car.
Sergio Perez is also looking forward to returning to forget the last, disappointing stint at Red Bull where he was torn apart by teammate Max Verstappen. So much desire for redemption from a driver who, for almost his entire career, has maintained a high level of performance.
