Through an official statement, Pisa announced the contractual termination with Filippo Inzaghi. Despite the historic promotion to Serie A, the Tuscan club has not confirmed the coach from Piacenza on the Nerazzurri bench.

“The club would like to thank Filippo Inzaghi, together with his Staff, for their professional work and for the fruitful and successful joint path culminating with the promotion to the Highest Series. To them come the best wishes for the continuation of their respective careers” closes the Pisa statement.

The Nerazzurri management is working to find a replacement: in pole there are Alberto Gilardino and Marco Giampaolo, who has freed himself from Lecce, while the’Matias Almeyda hypothesis, who is one step away from Sevilla, has gone away.
