When Jannik Sinner plays at the ATP Finals: background with Alexander Zverev

After a victory in the opener with Felix Auger-Aliassime, Jannik Sinner is preparing to take the court again on the second day of the Group ‘Bjorn Borg’ of the ATP Finals: the world and seeded number two will take on Alexander Zverev, number 3 in the ATP rankings and seeding.
The match between the Blue and the German will close the Wednesday, Nov. 12, schedule on the indoor concrete center court at Turin’s Inalpi Arena. It starts at 6 p.m. with the Arevalo/Pavic-Harrison/King doubles, not before 8:30 p.m. it is Jannik and Sascha’s turn.
There are nine previous matches between Sinner and Zverev with the South Tyrolean holding a 5-4 advantage. The world number two is looking for his third consecutive win in a matter of weeks after successes in the final at the Vienna ATP 500 and in the semifinals at the Paris Masters 1000.

Zverev, on the other hand, has beaten the Azzurro twice in the round of 16 at the Us Open (2021 and 2023), in the quarterfinals of the 2022 Monte Carlo Masters 1000 and in the semifinals at the 2020 ATP 250 Cologne.
