Dusan Vlahovic continues to put off a decision on his future. His contract with Juventus expires in just over 50 days, and at the moment there is still no clarity on what will happen to the Serbian striker. The odds of a renewal fluctuate constantly. A few months ago, just after the January market window, the parties seemed closer and geared toward moving forward together. Since then, however, progress has been minimal. Juventus put on the table an offer of about 6 million a season, almost half of what Vlahovic currently receives. After an initial glimmer, relations between the parties have cooled.

On the market front, sirens from big European clubs are beginning to weigh in. Barcelona and Bayern Munich could move in the summer in search of a center forward. The Catalans need to evaluate the post-Lewandowski, while the Bavarians are looking for an alternative to Kane. In this context, the idea of landing at one of these clubs is very tempting for the player. The position of his entourage, particularly his father-agent, also seems clear. The idea is to arrive at the expiration of his contract to free himself at parameter zero and aim for a more economically advantageous deal with a top European club.

Juventus, for its part, does not intend to be found unprepared. In attack, the possible renewal would be profound. Comolli is also considering the exits of Openda, David and Milik, all on the fringes of the project. In this scenario, losing Vlahovic as well would mean starting a real offensive revolution. Originally, the Bianconeri hoped to build the new phase of the department precisely around the Serbian, the only striker to have provided continuity this season. Now, however, the scenario has changed and a farewell at the end of the season looks increasingly likely.
