Juve market: goodbye Vlahovic, Giorgio Chiellini confirms and freezes Milan

Juventus Director of Football Strategy Giorgio Chiellini confirmed to AGI microphones the farewell of Dusan Vlahovic to the Bianconeri club. The distance between the player’s request (8 million plus bonuses and signing bonus) and the club’s proposal (6 million) was too wide and the two parties decided to part ways for good.

“I’m very sorry, until the last moment he kept us for Juve,” said Chiellini, who, however, froze the suitors in Italy, especially AC Milan who had made more than one thought for the player. He is a serious person but at these figures he will not stay in Italy, however, it is legitimate for him to look for another type of engagement.”

Vlahovic, who will be released on June 30 on a zero-parameter basis, has attracted the attention of clubs such as Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Barcelona and Newcastle in recent months. England’s champion Arsenal has also been approached in the past. Juventus is looking beyond and must now necessarily revolutionize the attack, “Juve will become a reference point again. We have to learn from our mistakes,” Chiellini assured.

On the replacement front, Juventus already has fairly clear ideas. The name at the top of the list is that of Randal Kolo Muani, a French striker who has already worn the Bianconeri jersey in the second part of the 2024-2025 season, leaving a very good memory in Turin. Paris Saint-Germain, after his loan to Tottenham, is intent on selling him outright: the price of the card is around 40 million euros.

Alternatively, the Old Lady is following with interest Crystal Palace’s Jean-Philippe Mateta, a protagonist in the Conference League final, and young Fabio Silva, who at Borussia Dortmund did not find continuity in the last season. A more complicated suggestion is the one linked to Darwin Núñez: the Uruguayan, who moved last summer from Liverpool to Al Hilal, was in fact excluded from the list of summoners after the arrival of Karim Benzema, but his 25 million euro salary including bonuses remains a practically insurmountable obstacle for the Bianconeri.
