Turin Transfer Market: One Striker Heading Toward a Contract Extension, Another Is on His Way Out

Torino is planning its attack for next season: Duvan Zapata is expected to remain in the attacking lineup, as he has no intention of leaving the Granata club. According to Tuttosport, the Colombian striker is about to sign a contract extension with the Piedmont-based club.
There is talk of a one-year extension, through 2028 (his previous contract was set to expire in 2027), and the player’s salary will be significantly reduced from his current level: from his current 5 million gross, Zapata’s pay is expected to drop to 2 million, including bonuses.
If Zapata stays, Che Adams could leave: the Scottish forward, despite coming off a disappointing World Cup, has several suitors on his trail and could soon be saying goodbye to Serie A. There are reportedly several offers for the player from the Premier League, and Venezia has also expressed interest, according to toronews. With Giovanni Simeone staying and Duvan Zapata renewing his contract, Adams could very well leave if the right offer comes along.
As for his transfer value, Torino does not seem willing to offer any discounts: Adams is under contract with Torino until 2027, and since he has shown no signs of wanting to renew, Petrachi would prefer to sell him this summer rather than risk losing him on a free transfer in just over a year. The asking price is reportedly around 11–12 million euros, with Brighton and Wolverhampton among the Premier League clubs most interested in the Scottish player.
