Como aims to continue its winning streak and build on its current run of good form, while Venezia is looking for crucial points to get back on track after a difficult start to the season. The match between Como and Venezia, part of Matchday 10 of the 2026-27 Serie A season, is scheduled for Sunday, November 1, at 12:30 p.m. at Sinigaglia Stadium.

The home team heads into the match with very positive statistics: they have won their last three league games by a margin of at least two goals, setting a club record in the top flight. Cesc Fabregas’s team has also proven particularly solid in front of its home crowd, conceding just one goal in its last five Serie A home games and keeping four clean sheets.

The situation is decidedly more complicated for Venezia, coming off a difficult start to the season. The Lagunari have managed just one win and eight losses in the first nine matchdays and risk making a negative mark in league history: only Varese, in 1965–66, had lost at least nine of their first ten games in a single season. Their away record is also cause for concern, with an ongoing streak of 30 consecutive games without a win in Serie A (10 draws and 20 losses).

Fabregas is expected to field a 4-2-3-1 formation, with Butez in goal and a back line consisting of Smolcic, Ramón, Kempf, and Kaiki. In midfield, Perrone and Ricci will start, while Yan Couto, Nico Paz, and Baturina are expected to operate in the attacking midfield behind lone striker Douvikas.

Davide Nicola’s Venezia is expected to respond with a 3-5-2 formation. Stankovic in goal, with a defense consisting of Halhal, Moreno, and Juan Jesus. Hainaut and Haps on the wings, with Kike Pérez, Busio, and Basic in midfield. Up front, the duo of Adams and Yeboah.

Probable lineups:

Como (4-2-3-1): Butez; Smolcic, Ramón, Kempf, Kaiki; Perrone, Ricci; Yan Couto, Nico Paz, Baturina; Douvikas. Head Coach: Fabregas.

Venezia (3-5-2): Stankovic; Halhal, Moreno, Juan Jesus; Hainaut, Kike Pérez, Busio, Basic, Haps; Adams, Yeboah. Head Coach: Nicola.

The match between Como and Venezia will be broadcast live and exclusively on DAZN on Sunday, November 1, with coverage beginning at 12:30 p.m.
