Milan, comeback: new contacts with Hakim Ziyech
Ziyech awaits Milan: negotiation that could come into focus in January
The Moroccan trequartista had been close to AC Milan during last summer’s soccer market session, showing early on that he liked the destination. The two sides, however, had failed to reach an economic agreement. Thanks to the revenue from qualifying for the Champions League round of 16 and the willingness of the player, who is not finding much space with Potter, to make a change of scenery, an agreement between the two clubs could come soon.
The formula could be that of an onerous loan with a right of redemption. Also on the player’s trail is Antonio Conte’s Tottenham, which could put a spoke in the wheels of the Rossoneri, attempting a January breakthrough.
Milan executives are pondering the most appropriate strategy to convince Chelsea to deprive themselves of the former Ajax man. Nonetheless, the final decision will in any case be up to Stefano Pioli, who in January would like only purchases that are functional to his project.
