Torino, eyes in Atalanta for next reinforcement

Among Torino’s market priorities is to fix the defense: Guillermo Maripán’s contract is expiring and appears to be heading for a farewell, Saba Sazonov is unhappy and could leave and Luca Marianucci will return to Napoli. The need for a new central defender is glaring and the club is already moving to find the right profile.
Gianluca Petrachi is monitoring with particular interest the market of possible free agents and in the last few hours some Granata executives are considering acquiring Sead Kolasinac. Due to expire in June with Atalanta, the Bosnian footballer could be excluded from Raffaele Palladino’s future plans.
The former Fiorentina helmsman took over from Ivan Juric in November and could not make the summer market, but in a few months he will have the opportunity to redesign La Dea and will most likely make several changes in the squad. Kolasinac seems to be among the possible departures and Torino is evaluating him but on the tracks of the experienced defender there also seem to be some German clubs.
Petrachi has also been monitoring Aaron Martin, a 28-year-old offensive left-back currently at Genoa, for days. He is on a contract expiration date and, in order to renew, the player has asked for a salary increase, which so far the Grifone has not yet authorized. Should Martine’s paths with Genoa part, Torino would certainly make an attempt to try to get ahead of the competition (Roma first and foremost).
