Jannik Sinner, Paolo Bertolucci points out one particular

“Losing to Zverev is OK, and let’s remember that at Sinner’s age Zverev was going out in the first round at Slams.”
Former tennis player Paolo Bertolucci at the microphones of Adnkronos sided with Jannik Sinner after his elimination from the Us Open: “He is only 20 years old and already one step away from the top ten in the world, he is burning up but it is wrong to expect more from him. He lost to Alexander Zverev in the round of 16 of the Us Open by struggling and even having five set points in the third set.”
“Losing to the German fits us and let’s remember that at Sinner’s age Zverev was going out in the first round in Slams,” Bertolucci notes.
“We have to wait and be patient because Sinner is strong and he lacks little to do great things. By the way Zverev who is number 4 in the world served incredibly, especially in the first two sets, he didn’t give him a chance. The German at 24 is now ready to win a Grand Slam. He, Medvedev and Tsitsipas are ready to take the tennis summit and with them Berrettini. Right behind there are other slightly younger guys like Sinner, Auger-Aliassime, Alcaraz and hopefully Musetti who will be ready in a few years.”
