The Suzuki centaur has a special message for the nine-time world champion.

“I have no words for what he’s doing, it’s nothing short of incredible”: world champion Joan Mir has a special message for Valentino Rossi in his end-of-year interview with the Sport newspaper. “Someone told him ‘retire now,’ but he believes in himself, he is passionate about motorcycles, and with that attitude it is normal that he is where he is now and has won what he has won.”

“This year he did not reach podium number 200 in MotoGP, but I wish I had the same statistics,” are the words of the Spanish centaur, who has always said he is a fan of the Doctor.

Mir also spoke about Andrea Dovizioso: “I think that if he finds a bike with which to fight for the world championship he will be back. However, young people will make their own way and gradually oust the more experienced favorites. Generations change and stronger riders always come along at some point, it’s part of the sport and part of life. For example, I used to be seen as a rookie, today the treatment I get is that of an established driver in the category.”
