Wide acclaim at La Pinetina Golf Club for the wines of Antonio Faravelli

The revitalization project conceived by Antonio Faravelli, promoted under the brand name “Golf and Wine 1895,” won wide acclaim at La Pinetina Golf Club. Participants appreciated his vision, which aims to enhance Made in Italy through the integration of golf, tourism and wine and food traditions of the area. The president of the club, Roberto Tavecchio, also expressed great enthusiasm, recognizing the value of the initiative for local promotion.

During the event, Faravelli led a tasting of Cantine Vitea’s award-winning wines, detailing the techniques used in the vineyard, the careful selection of grapes and the attention paid to each stage of winemaking. This approach has earned the winery numerous international awards, including several gold medals, confirming the high quality of its products. “Sports, golf, tourism and the enhancement of territories through excellent productions: this is the direction that sportsmen and women expect,” said Faravelli. “The Golf and Wine 1895 project was created precisely to connect these areas and relaunch them with new energy.”

Cantine Vitea, with more than a century of history, represents one of the most emblematic realities of Oltrepò Pavese. During the initiative, guests were able to taste and purchase some of the winery’s most awarded labels, including historic wines that in the past also won over the composer Giacomo Puccini.

Fascinated by the quality of the proposals, many participants decided to purchase the wines with great satisfaction. Faravelli, satisfied with the turnout and positive feedback, has already set a new date: a competition at the Pinetina Golf Club scheduled for July 18, 2026, put on the calendar under the title “Golf and Wine 1895 by Cantine Vitea.”
