L'Udinese makes an announcement about Nicolò Zaniolo

Nicolò Zaniolo has regained confidence in Serie A, relaunched himself and convinced Udinese to redeem him. The Friulani’s group technical director Gian Luca Nani in an interview with Radio Kiss Kiss Kiss confirmed the Bianconeri club’s willingness to redeem the player from Galatasaray.
“We had no doubts about his technical qualities. He has performed well with us and his desire is to stay: that is why we will go ahead on this path. We are kind to those who come knocking, we will gladly offer them tea, but Zaniolo we will not sell him. Our goal is to redeem him to keep him here. Then it is clear that the market always reserves surprises, however, both our will and that of the player is to continue together.”
Nani then went into more detail about the situation: “We have the right of redemption, but it is still early to talk about it in detail. When you have a choice, you are certainly in an advantageous position. Right now, however, we are focused on other things. Our job does not end when we get a player: managing him is as important as choosing him, because you have to put him in the conditions to express his potential to the fullest. The fact that he is doing well and has not run into negative episodes must be the norm in a path of growth. He is a very high quality footballer and he has to demand a lot of himself. We have helped him return to high levels: he has the characteristics to fight for important goals, even to win the Champions League.”
Nani’s words on Udinese’s season: “This team has a lot of talent, but being very young it is normal that it goes through ups and downs. When we have more solidity and continuity we can think about a different championship. This year the goal was to save ourselves without suffering and we achieved it already in January, so from this point of view we are satisfied. We have given space to many interesting young people and we want to continue along this line. It is part of human nature to have ambitions: we will try to plan for the future respecting our parameters and philosophy, with the goal of always reaching salvation well in advance.”
