Walter De Raffaele postpones the'date with salvation

Coach Walter De Raffaele spoke in a press conference after his Acqua S.Bernardo Cantù’s defeat at home to APU Udine: “It deserved this victory because, except for a few moments in the second quarter, it always commanded the game and the inertia was always in its hands.”

“We tried different quintets and situations, to cover absences and bad nights of some, but there was never that spark to rekindle at an emotional level a game that started on an uphill slope,” noted the coach of the Whitescreens.

“We have to have the ability to recover physically, erase and analyze what went wrong, to try to be ready for the next game. We will play in front of our audience, this I hope will give us some of the energy we lacked tonight,” De Raffaele concluded.

For Cantù’s salvation, next Sunday’s home game against Treviso thus becomes decisive.
