Ducati Pramac centaur Danilo Petrucci, who underwent surgery only three weeks ago on his hand, explains to Sky microphones that he will do everything to be there on Sunday for the first Gp of the season.
“The doctors have put me off, I will be on the track on Thursday but they want to double-check after the first free practice session. I don’t know if I will be able to race. I feel pain closing my fist, but it’s different on the bike. Usually it doesn’t hurt, I thought I would come in worse. However, it will be one of the most difficult situations of my life.”
“I don’t feel like doing further damage,” Petrucci continued, “I’ll see in the next few days after the first tests if I’ll be able to continue. I don’t know what to expect, let’s see. They told me I can try until Thursday night. Already being here is an achievement.”
