Milan and Juventus in white at San Siro, Inter can also smile

The Sunday of the thirty-fourth day of Serie A closes with neither winners nor losers in the big match at San Siro: between Milan and Juventus ends 0-0, at the end of a blocked challenge, poor in chances and marked more by the balance than by the spectacle.
In the first half, the key moment comes in the 36th minute, when Thuram finds the way to the goal, but the Bianconeri exultation lasts little: the goal is annulled for a clear offside on Conceiçao’s cross. The same Juventus outfielder then makes himself the protagonist of an interesting duel with Maignan, who responds in attendance and keeps the result pinned at 0-0.
In the second half, Milan tries to up the pace and goes close to the lead with Saelemaekers, however, stopped by the crossbar. Substitutions do not really change the face of the match: Allegri relies on Füllkrug and Nkunku, while Spalletti responds with Yildiz and Vlahovic, but the match remains closed and fragmented. The only real thrill in the final was given by Vlahovic himself, who came close to a three-point strike in the second half but failed to find the decisive kick.
The draw leaves everything open in the Champions League perspective. Milan slips back to third place and keeps six points ahead of fifth, shared by Como and Roma. At the same time, the two pursuers remain just three points behind Juventus. With four days to go, the race for a place in the next Champions League thus enters its hottest moment.
