Manolas toward renewal

Kostas Manolas has become a key pawn in Luciano Spalletti’s lineup. In fact, the Greek footballer in addition to being a pillar of the Giallorossi defense has become without any doubt one of the leaders of the team.
The class of ’91 defender is doing very well in the last two seasons with Roma and thanks to his talent he has won the attentions of several European big names including Chelsea and Arsenal. In Trigoria they are running for cover, in fact these days they are talking about the renewal of Manolas’ contract until 2020. The defender wants a substantial increase in his salary, which currently hovers around 1.5 million. Roma seems to be willing to accommodate him in order not to lose him, especially now that qualification for the next Champions League is again a concrete goal.
