Marc Marquez jealous of Ducati? Brother Alex is hissy-faced
Possible sibling envy, which is not denied.
Marc Marquez may be watching his brother Alex’s results very closely, now that the latter has landed at Team Gresini Racing and is set to pilot a Ducati. The confirmation comes via a non-denial, which emerges from the words of the man himself in an interview with ‘Motorsport’.
“I don’t know,” Alex Marquez in fact replied in reference to the hypothesis of a Marc jealous of his brother’s bike. “He will be very fast and I have a really good relationship with him. But I don’t worry much about what they do in Honda. That’s how life works, things change and they can also go that way.”
Alex Marquez then had his say about Honda’s difficulties, “It’s not that I’m surprised, but sometimes things like that can happen. If you try new solutions and they don’t work, you go home with nerves. However, if there is a rider who can turn these kinds of solutions around, it is Marc. However, the fact remains that in Honda they need to get their act together.”
A decidedly different situation instead at Ducati, as Alex Marquez himself confirmed: “I felt supported from the very first moment by the team, and this surprised me. I like everything about the bike, from the braking to the power. Riding it is really pleasant. The engine is also less aggressive than I thought, but the power transmission is very smooth. This is one of the aspects that helps a rider feel most comfortable.”
