Rossi among Ducatis: Italian front row

MotoGp starts again under the banner of Italian colors. Official practice for the Austrian GP at Spielberg saw precisely the tricolour riders as the main protagonists.

The Ducatis confirmed the domination exercised since free practice: the unbridled Andrea Iannone and Andrea Dovizioso gave life to an exhilarating head-to-head, concluded with the conquest of the pole by the rider from Vasto with a time of 1’23″142 and the third place of Dovi.

In the middle, Valentino Rossi, author of a big time (1’23″289) worth for a few seconds the provisional pole.

Race of chase for the Spaniards: 4th place for Lorenzo, 219 thousandths off the pole and fifth for Marquez, at 333 thousandths, after the bad misadventure of the morning, when a fall to avoid Pedrosa during free practice had procured the World Championship leader the subluxation of the shoulder, then manually made back by the same pilot.
