Ligue 1 2025-2026: Nantes-Olympique Marseille, the probable formations

The French league is now at the final straight, with three days left to play and a couple of recoveries (to be staged in mid-May) that could also weigh on the title fight, as one of them is Lens-PSG. Before that, however, it’s all set for the 32nd day, which kicks off on Saturday with four matches: the first on the schedule is played at 3 p.m. and sees Nantes, desperately seeking points to move closer to the play-off zone, and Olympique Marseille, which instead wants to consolidate its presence among the top six.
This is followed at 5 p.m. with PSG’s leading team, engaged at home against Lorient. Luis Enrique’s team, fresh from a pyrotechnic 5-4 draw in the Champions League against Lorient, will try to put further pressure on second-placed Lens, already six points away. On the other side, Lorient is playing for prestige but has nothing more to ask of the league: salvation is achieved and Europe too far away.
At 7 p.m., the game continues with Metz-Monaco, with the hosts held up at the moment only by arithmetic: even a victory against the Principality club may not be enough to still hope for salvation, since third-last-place Auxerre is nine points away. The Monegasques, on the other hand, are playing their last cartridges to get back into the European discourse: current seventh place would in fact leave them out of the cups.
Closing Saturday’s program is second-place Lens, on stage at 9 p.m.05 at home to Nice: the Rossoneri are aiming to do well to mortgage their salvation talk, Racing on the other hand cannot lose if they want to give themselves one last chance of the title despite the gap to PSG being six points on the eve of this day.
