Sebastian Vettel is also set to say goodbye at Interlagos

Last Brazilian Grand Prix for Sebastian Vettel, who took three wins but most importantly his third career world title at Interlagos.

“It will be great to race at this iconic venue for one last time. Although we were not up to scratch in Mexico, our form in general has been good recently. We are still in full fight with Alfa Romeo in the constructors’ championship and we will do everything to maximize the potential of the car in these last two races. It is a difficult mission, but we are ready for it.”

It was Sebastian Vettel who was the first driver to win a world championship with Red Bull. The German put everyone in line for four years in a row, from 2010 to 2013. The Austrian stable returned to success in 2021 thanks to Dutchman Max Verstappen, with the son of art repeating the following year. If there was a battle to the last in 2021, that was not the case in 2022.
