Serie A 2025-26: Sassuolo-Milan, the likely lineups

Sassuolo takes the field today, Sunday, May 3 at 3 p.m., at the Mapei Stadium in Reggio Emilia to face AC Milan in the match valid for the 35th day of Serie A. The neroverdi, already certain of salvation, can play without any ranking pressure, aiming to end the season in the best possible way. The team comes from four points in the last two outings, thanks to a home success against Como (2-1) and a goalless draw on the field of Fiorentina.
In front of them will be an AC Milan currently third and well on their way to qualifying for the next Champions League. The Rossoneri are also in the race with Napoli (0-0 on Saturday in Como for the Conte-boys) for second place and therefore come to Reggio Emilia with the need to get a result, after the 0-0 against Juventus in the last round.
Directing the match will be Fabio Maresca of the Naples section, assisted by Giorgio Peretti of Verona and Filippo Bercigli of Florence. Fourth official Livio Marinelli of Tivoli, while the Var will be Paolo Mazzoleni of Bergamo, with Giacomo Paganessi as Avar.
Probable formations
Sassuolo (4-3-3): Turati; Walukiewicz, Idzes, Muharemovic, Garcia; Konè, Matic, Thorstvedt; Berardi, Pinamonti, Laurientè. All. Grosso.
Milan (3-5-2): Maignan; Tomori, Gabbia, Pavlovic; Saelemaekers, Fofana, Jashari, Rabiot, Estupinan; Leao, Nkunku. All. Allegri.
