Jannik Sinner and Anna Kalinskaya crossed paths at the Foto Italico on Saturday night during the Internazionali d’Italia. In fact, the world number one’s match preceded on the Central Court the Russian tennis player’s match against Swiss Belinda Bencic.

Sinner disposed of Ofner in two sets by getting rid of the Austrian with a score of 6-3, 6-4 without conceding break balls, then left the court to his ex-girlfriend, who imitated him by overcoming Bencic in two sets. The two certainly crossed paths but not in public, shielded from prying eyes in the corridor leading to the locker room.

Their affair is now the past, however: Sinner has been linked for more than a year with Danish model Laila Hasanovic, who was not present in Rome at her debut but will be in the coming days, while the Muscovite was seen a few months ago with a former flame of his, Tomas Ferrari.

Exceptional audience members in the stands at the Central included comedian and showman Rosario Fiorello, Federtennis president Angelo Binaghi, former world champion soccer player Marco Tardelli and singer Brunori Sas. Before the match, Sinner had met with celebrated star Andrea Bocelli. Jannik’s parents, dad Hanspeter and mom Siglinde, were also in the stands.

As for Laila Hasanovic, the Danish model has already proven this season that she is a key presence in the South Tyrolean’s box. In Monte Carlo, where Sinner won the title by beating Carlos Alcaraz in the final, Italian showgirl Elena Santarelli had publicly defended her on Instagram after some criticism on social media: “She is discreet, humble, easy-going, sweet, helpful, nice, composed and chic, never out of place. I think she is the right girl for a great champion,” the presenter, wife of former footballer Bernardo Corradi, had written.
