Antonio Faravelli again starring in hot Brianza
Antonio Faravelli, wine entrepreneur from Montù Beccaria and founder of Cantine Vitea, represents one of the most authentic expressions of Oltrepò Pavese. Creator of the “Golf and Wine 1895” project, which combines winemaking tradition and sporting passion, he was exclusively chosen to present his wines and territorial revitalization project as part of Swing Experience 2026, a prestigious event hosted by the Golf Club Brianza. On the other hand, Faravelli is a great golf enthusiast and never backs down when invited to initiatives of this tenor: he also considers the dialogue with potential clients fundamental, strong in the quality of his production.
The stop at the Golf Club Brianza is part of an extraordinarily intense season, which has seen Faravelli as a protagonist in some of Italy’s most prestigious clubs. In 2026 alone, the Pavia-based entrepreneur has already trodden the greens of the Monticello Golf Club, Le Rovedine Golf Club, Villa Paradiso Golf Club in Cornate d’Adda, Barlassina Golf Club, La Pinetina Golf Club and Bogogno Golf Resort in Novarese, garnering enthusiastic acclaim everywhere as much for Cantine Vitea’s wines as for the entrepreneurial vision behind the “Golf and Wine 1895” project. A widespread and consistent presence, which confirmed the choice of the Swing Experience 2026 circuit to bet on Cantine Vitea as its exclusive partner for the entire season.
Among the labels that have been most appreciated during these events are the Metodo Classico Pinot Nero Pas Rosé, the Bonarda Gallesio and the famous Buttafuoco Cà del Cervo, the only one to receive the Crown among the sector awards. The latter adds to a respectable palmares: two gold medals in Asia, several medals from Decanter worldwide and the certificate from Vini Buoni d’Italia of the Italian Touring Club. A tradition of excellence that has its roots in the winery’s founding in 1895 at the hands of great-grandfather Antonio Faravelli, and today has five generations of winemakers.
The “Golf and Wine 1895” project is not limited to the golf club circuit. Faravelli has demonstrated an increasingly transversal presence in the panorama of Italian excellence: its sparkling wines paraded among the locations of the Hotel Principe di Savoia and the Chiostri di San Barnaba in Milan during Infinity Fashion Week, and then landed at the elegant Hotel Le Marois in Paris, winning over prominent personalities from the world of fashion and cinema. The entrepreneur was also exclusively invited to the international event HOME in Pavia, Pavia’s largest event dedicated to furniture and design, for which Cantine Vitea is official wine.
There is no lack of a solidarity dimension in Faravelli’s journey. The entrepreneur was exclusively invited to the charity event “I Love Life,” organized by the Milan Oncology Association at the Vigevano Golf Club, bringing his wines and his project in a context of strong ethical and human value. “I could not say no to such an initiative,” commented Faravelli. “Research is very important and can save lives.”
The vision that animates this whole journey is summed up clearly in the words of the entrepreneur himself: “It is fundamental to grow golf in our nation. The more people who play the sport, the stronger the local economy, tourism and promotion of the area. If golf grows, the whole system grows. Let’s play and work together for the good of Italy.”
