Jannik Sinner and Laila Hasanovic out grocery shopping: the world’s number one tennis player and the Danish model were filmed wandering through the aisles of a supermarket in Munich, just like any ordinary couple.

The footage went viral on X and TikTok: the two were first seen in the beverage and juice aisle, then heading toward the checkout with their respective shopping carts, almost like husband and wife. A few days ago, the couple was spotted riding the San Candido champion’s red Vespa on the streets of the Principality.

Glimpses of normalcy for the tennis star, who is seeking some relaxation between training sessions after a very intense first half of the year.

Laila’s presence by Sinner’s side is nothing new these days: the Danish model has remained by the South Tyrolean champion’s side throughout the most delicate moments of recent weeks, accompanying him on a mini-vacation by boat in Sardinia with some friends, then to Milan for medical checkups at San Raffaele Hospital, and finally on his return to Monte Carlo. A solid bond, which now comes across quite naturally even in the daily life of the Principality.

This period of relative calm is part of a very specific preparation phase: Sinner has resumed intense training at the Monte Carlo Country Club alongside his coach Simone Vagnozzi, with the goal of arriving in top form at Wimbledon, where he is set to defend the title he won in 2025. The decision was made not to play any grass-court tournaments before the Championships, which begin on June 29, apart from an exhibition match at the Giorgio Armani Tennis Classic at the Hurlingham Club in London.
