Juventus Transfer Market: Another Bid for Inter’s Star Player

Failing to qualify for the Champions League will force Juventus to adopt a more cautious transfer strategy than initially planned, but Giovanni Carnevali is already at work to strengthen Luciano Spalletti’s squad.
Among the top targets for the new CEO and general manager of Juventus is undoubtedly Davide Frattesi. The Inter midfielder was close to a move to Turin last summer, but Cristian Chivu managed to convince him to stay (later, some Turkish clubs also tried to sign him but without success). The former Sassuolo midfielder’s season has not been stellar, and he has played just over 500 minutes in the league, spread across 22 appearances.
Luciano Spalletti would like to make another attempt to sign Frattesi: the two have already worked together on the national team, and the midfielder performed exceptionally well under the former head coach, which is why he would welcome a move to Piedmont.
Among Juventus’ targets is also Giovanni Leoni, a young defender with tremendous potential. Last summer, he left Parma to join Liverpool but then suffered a very serious knee injury that forced him to sit out the entire season.
The Bianconeri would like to propose a loan deal to the Reds, but the decision will rest with Andoni Iraola, Liverpool’s new manager who has taken over from Arne Slot.
